Helping Blind and Low Vision Students

Posted under Living With Low Vision, Low Vision Info

The Lions Club is helping blind and low vision students across Illinois by providing schools with an assortment of new equipment. This low vision assistive technology makes it easy for visually impaired students to follow lessons, take tests, and participate with the rest of the class, without missing a beat. In addition to donations, they were able to raise over $7,000 by hosting a series of pancake breakfasts. It’s just business as usual for the Lions, who commit themselves to aiding those suffering from low vision or blindness by bringing communities together and providing tremendous support; click below to learn more about the Lions, and how you can help.
