The American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) is the largest national membership medical association of ophthalmologists specializing in eye care and surgery.

The mission of AAO is to advance the lifelong learning and professional interests of ophthalmologists to ensure that the public can obtain the best possibly eye care. The AAO is dedicated to enhancing the quality life for every individual they treat by helping each to see his or her best and by protecting their patients’ vision and eye health throughout life. The Academy puts on annual meetings to help their members reach these goals.

Enhanced Vision is excited to be exhibiting at the Academy’s Meeting this year in Chicago, Illinois. We will be showcasing our extensive line of easy-to-use assistive technology designed to help low vision individuals regain their independence. We hope to generate awareness to the Ophthalmologists on low vision and the assistive technology available.

The meeting exhibitions begin Friday October 15th and will run until Tuesday, October 19th. As soon as the meeting concludes, we will update you on our experience at the event.

Please help Enhanced Vision get the word out about our low vision devices by mentioning our products to your own doctor. It is likely he or she is not aware of the assistive technology available for low vision individuals. We need your help to generation awareness to doctors and other visually impaired people.
