Magnifying Solutions

vision conditions, is teaming up with Enhanced Vision, the industry

manufacturing innovative solutions for the visually impaired for more
than a
decade, to launch a Mobile Vision Showroom & Resource Center
which will
travel throughout the state. The
traveling showroom is designed to build awareness and educate the
public regarding
low vision and the existing products that enable individuals to read,
write and
live a full and active life once again.
The
Mobile Vision Showroom and Resource
Center
will be visiting doctors’
offices in cities throughout Florida,
providing
individuals with the latest information and developments in the low
vision
industry. The
showroom will also feature
demonstrations of the latest assistive technologies available at all
doctors’
offices to help visually impaired individuals regain their independence.

or one in 28, are afflicted with low vision according to a study
sponsored by
the National Eye Institute. Vision
loss
is projected to significantly escalate into a major public health
problem over
the next decade due to our aging population.
