The Historical Society of Berks County’s Palmer Gallery has a new exhibit, The Mannerbacks: Reading’s Master Silversmiths, 1785 to 1840 running from May 1, 2010 to December 31, 2010. The exhibit will explore the works of three generations of silversmiths in Reading with a focus on the nature motifs found in their works. In order to help their patrons to better appreciate and view this highly detailed craft, two Acrobat Short Arms have been placed to help magnify the displays on large LCD screens. The Acrobat Short Arms are able to show the specific details of the Silversmiths’ works by magnifying the crafts up to 75x with the innovative camera technology the units deliver. We are proud to be part of the exhibit at the Historical Society of Berks County’s Palmer Gallery to enhance the beautiful history of Reading Silversmiths.
